Austria is made up of nine states (Bundesländer) which make up a federation. Vorarlberg and Tirol, the area in which we are currently offering holiday homes, are located in the country’s westernmost part.

With its many valleys, Vorarlberg offers a wealth of winter sports locations.

Hundreds of kilometres of ski runs, dozens of lifts, snowboarding parks, floodlit luge tracks; Vorarlberg has it all. However, the state also has plenty to offer during other seasons. In addition to splendid walking routes and various golf courses, you will also find mountain bike routes, the unique Silvretta route, (famous amongst motorcyclists for its 32 hairpin turns) open-air swimming pools, climbing walls and tennis and squash courts. You could also choose to take a day trip or shopping trip to Bludenz, Liechtenstein, Innsbruck or Switzerland. Salzburg

Salzburgerland is a unique part of Austria. Its many ski areas with guaranteed snow make it one of Austria’s most popular destinations for winter sports enthusiasts. Surrounded by beautiful, renowned ski areas such as Saalbach Hinterglemm, the Ski Amadé, Hochköning, Oberntauern and the permanently snow-covered Kitzsteinhorn near Kaprun, our centrally-located holiday complex is ideally situated.
However, Salzburgerland has more to offer than winter sports alone. The Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain with a peak of 3798 metres, is one of the treasures of Hohe Tauern National Park, a conservation area located mainly in Salzburg. The numerous 3000-plus mountains surrounded by magnificent glaciers offer many challenges and spectacular views. And let’s not forget the Krimmler Wasserfälle, (the largest waterfall in Europe, with a height of 380 metres) the beautiful lakes and the city of Salzburg itself. As you can see, Salzburgerland is a first rate destination offering a great many options for those seeking to combine an active holiday with relaxation!

Tirol

Tirol is an extremely popular part of Austria. With its many characteristic mountain villages and beautifully wooded mountain slopes, Tirol has a fairytale-like appeal. Unsurprisingly, the region is popular amongst holiday-makers. The two projects in our portfolio are typical of Tirol’s gentle, characteristic charm. Relax in a characteristic village or enjoy your holidays above the tree line; it’s all possible in Tirol!
Tirol is also known as Austria’s foremost skiing region. With the Pitztal, Kaunertal, Stubaital, Sölden and Hintertux within its borders, Tirol can claim to have five of Austria’s eight glacial skiing areas. Skiing areas such as St. Anton am Arlberg, Lech/Zürs, Mayrhofen, Gerlos, Ischgl and Sölden are all renowned, as is the local après ski. For those in search of a slightly more peaceful (skiing) holiday, Tirol also has plenty of smaller, quieter areas to offer. As the snow in the valleys melts to reveal spectacular flower-filled meadows, a wonderful new season begins. With a virtually endless number of walking routes, beautiful mountain passes, glaciers and lots of other things to see and do, Tirol has everything you need for a perfect holiday that is both active and relaxing!
